Just upgraded to FF43.0.1 and now I'm having a problem that Adblock Plus (ABP) is blocking the video playbacks on the AOL homepage. Didn't have this problem in FF 43 and don't have this problem with either IE9 or Chrome also using ABP. Seems it's a problem unique to FF. When I disable ABP on the AOL home page the videos playback. I did send a note to ABP about this. Anyone have any thoughts about this. Must be some sort of FF bug-I think.

Alas, you were right. I see that ABP updates their filters as of this AM and the AOL videos are now working-thanks

hi, please refer to https://adblockplus.org/getting_started#false-positives about how to deal with such an issue.

Thanks for your reply but I'm having the exact same problem using the uBlock Origin ad blocker. It would be too wildly coincendental that I would be having the exact same problem with two different ad blockers. Has to be a bug in FF 43.0.1. This problem didn't exist in FF 43 or in any other browser. I look forward to anyone's comments.

adblock plus and ublock are using the same auto-updating (easylist) filterlist by default, so that's no surprise... please pursue the reporting the false positive as described in the link mentioned before as i don't see any way that the changes from firefox 43 to 43.0.1 could be at the root of this.

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <web site>.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I've already reported to ABP. What I don't understand is why, when using ABP or Ublock Origin, which use the same Easy list I have the identical problem on FF but both work perfectly OK on Chrome and IE9. Can anyone answer that question?

The support site will have to answer that.
