Some emails display only source code. Also, some emails display other emails when clicked on, instead of the text which was sent in that particular email. Help

As of yesterday, many emails displayed only code, no text. Also, some emails seem to have gotten mixed up under the headings of other emails.

Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder.

Then read this article to help prevent corruption in the future.

Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.

When I right click on an email folder, I don't see where it gives me the option to choose "properties." There are 23 options, but none with the heading "properties."

No idea what you are doing but right click opens a menu with 8 choices and properties is the last one.

I followed the instructions but alas it deleted all the emails in my in box. Fortunately only 4 emails as I always move them to specific folders if to be kept. This is the second time this has happened recently so hope it was only a conicidence. I have no add-ons installed.
