Can't install Unity on either Firefox 42 or 43 using Win8.1, worked fine last month and random Flash Player crashes on certain video streams.

Not sure what else to say, tried installing it both from the site and through the link provided from this game: http://www.kongregate.com/games/artlogicgames/epic-war-vi Neither worked. It shows up in my installed programs/features, but not in Firefox. Also been having some issues with Flash player instantly crashing on seemingly random video sites when I try to play a video. No idea what causes it. Sent a few crash reports. Can't say I browse many video sites to really compare on, but definitely all videos on the porn site: xvideos.com all cause instant crashes.

That is a problem with the nahimicmsiosd.dll file that is part of Nahimic Audio Software. You will have to uninstall this software and contact its publisher for support.

Plugins are installed on system and not in Firefox (like Extensions and complete Themes are) whether on Windows, Mac OSX, or Linux.

I see you are using Win64 Firefox Releases.

Win64 Firefox 43 only has the 64-bit Flash Player and Silverlight Plugins white listed to run. The Win64 Firefox 42 only had the 64-bit Flash Player white listed to run.

If you want to use other Plugins in Firefox on Windows you need 32-bit Firefox and 32-bit Plugins which do work work on 64-bit Windows.

Maybe somebody can help identify the cause of the Firefox crashes.

Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
