Firefox is open but I can't actually open it. I'm not getting any error messages when I try to select it, just nothing. When I try and right click/force quit or apple/force quit nothing happens. I've also tried closing down my machine but Firefox is still open. Please help.

Open up Task Manager from your start menu, and click Firefox, then click end task on the bottom right of the window.

Thanks jjalarie, but I'm on a Mac which has Activity manager and not Task Manager. When I go to activity manager, Firefox is not displaying as active so I can't close it from there however in the bottom bar on my Mac it's showing as active. I suspect I'm going to have to uninstall it and start again.

Cheers F

Well, I must've missed the part where you may have said you're on a Mac, so I can't help. Best thing I can suggest, is rebooting it.
