I was trying to use Ebates cash back button and firefox is not allowing it. What can I do to get fire fox to allow the cash back?

Chosen solution

When you say that Firefox is not allowing it, what do you mean? For example, the button is missing, or the button is not clickable, or you can click the button but nothing happens, or... ?

Does the button usually appear in a web page? If so:

  • The Adblock button should have a menu to make an exception for a site. Have you tried that? (I don't know much about Adblock Plus, there might also be a list of things you blocked that you can unblock.)
  • Are you using a private browsing window? There is a tracking protection feature that shows a small "shield" icon to the left of the address if Firefox is blocking content in the page. You can make a site exception to see whether that makes a difference. This article has more information: What happened to Tracking Protection?.

If the button normally appears on a Firefox toolbar and is missing, try using the Customize mode to hunt for it and put it back in a useful location: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Any progress so far?

Thanks, you answered the question. I was able to fix this by customizing my Firefox controls.
