An earlier auto-upgrade of 45.0.2 this month wouldn't run, just briefly blinked the icon, then nothing! Uninstalled 45.0.2 and loaded 43.0.1 which was the version available for Windows 32. Now another auto-update of 45.0.2 is ready, so can I remove it and stop auto-upgrades?

Did you want to update the browser, or stop the update notice?

Hi Fred,

I want to stop the auto-upgrades to 45.0.2, and retain 43.0.1. So I'd like to abort the upgrade waiting on my PC and also have the means to veto future auto-upgrades, if possible.

Thank you.

The 45.0.2 upgrade waiting on the PC was successful, so problem went away! Will use the Upgrade-check option just in case. Thank you.
