when I "go back" to a previous page it does not Update itself.

Example: I am in a forum. I read a topic and when I "go back" to the menu it still says it is unread. I believe it is a cached page. I want to NOT cache if that is the problem.

Stumbled on the answer (I hope).

  1. type in the address bar about:config
  2. then press the button i'l be careful i promise
  3. then type in the bar browser.cache.disk.enable
  4. then double click on it, to make it false
  5. exit firefox and restart-it.
  6. do the same with browser.cache.memory.enable
