Does Firefox still work on a Windows 10 phone?

more options

I was using Firefox browser on my Windows 10 phone and after the last update on the phone's OS Firefox was gone. When my computer was updated to Firefox 53.0 (32bit) there was a window which allowed you to send Firefox to your phone. I put my Windows 10 phone number in and then went to my phone and found a message say Firefox was there and I needed to click on a link to activate it. That link took me to Google and Google sees my phone as a Samsung. Samsung phones are not Windows. So can I use Firefox on my phone or am I forced to use Microsoft Edge

I'm pretty sure there's never been an official release of Firefox for the Windows Phone OS. Are you sure it was Firefox and not some other fire browser or fox browser?
