How do I stop automatic deletion of e-mails after 14 days?

My e-mails are being deleted after 14 days. The setting under "Server settings" are set to not delete the e-mails but it is still happening.

Check the settings under Disk Space (for POP) or Synchronization & Storage (for IMAP) in the Account Settings.

Also, for IMAP, make sure your messages are not deleted by another client than Thunderbird.
