If I only save the local folders, and now I have problem to retrieve my old emails from the local folders to the new thunderbird email. Any suggestion how?

I am migrating my thunderbird email from Windows to Mac. Unintentionally, I only save local folder archive, and without saving all the old profile.

I have difficulty in retrieving back the old emails from previous local folder archive.

Any solution on this?

I would import the mailbox files from your old profile, using this add-on:

I think I'd create a subfolder under Local Folders to import into, just to be sure I knew what came from where. You can move the imported messages into more appropriate locations afterwards.
