All I really wanted to do was share my mobile FireFox bookmarks between my phone and my tablet (both Android) and be able to rearrange the bookmarks into a more useful sort order. Now that I have implemented FireFox Sync I have been forced to put all of my desktop bookmarks on my mobile devices, none of which I want on mobile.

1) How do I remove this Desktop folder and all those bookmarks from my mobile devices? (WIthout losing them from my desktop)

2) How can I move the remaining folders on my Mobile Bookmarks to the bottom of the list on my mobile devices? (So the actual bookmarks display first)

Hi

Thank you for your question about better bookmark management in Firefox for Android.

Bookmark management is still being developed, but a delivery date is currently unknown. If you want an early look at this feature, you should install the experimental Nightly edition of Firefox for Android from Google Play.

Nightly is a pre-release version of Firefox, therefore it may contain some unresolved issues, but it will allow you to try the bookmark management feature in Firefox for Android. Once installed, long press on a bookmark to be given the option to Edit the bookmark, where you can change the folder or create a new folder for the bookmark to be stored in.

Please follow the Mozilla Blog for updates on this and other new Firefox features.
