Recently I have updated from Firefox 55.0.2 to 56.0. From that moment, Firefox couldn't start anymore, I only saw a white, flickering screen. I tried deinstalling an reinstalling the app, no success. Same happened when I updated from Firefox 57.0b3 to 57.0b4. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, model number GT-I9515 and my Android version is 4.4.2.

Correction: The Firefox versions from the Play Store are working. The problems came with Firefox from the Mozilla ftp server. https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/ But all downloaded versions from there have worked before. Maybe it has to do with Google Play Protect. Does it mean the ftp versions are infected? I wonder if this Firefox from the Mozilla website is ok? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/all/
