Just downloaded and installed Firefox Quantum Beta. Unlike all prior Firefox editions, when I click on a link in Thunderbird, the link does not open in Quantum Beta. Is there a necessary step involving somehow registering Quantum Beta with Thunderbird? Is there some other action I need to take in order to have Thunderbird links open in Quantum Beta? I'm working on a PC with W10 installed.

Is the Firefox Quantum Beta version set as the default browser?

You may have to check the related key in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in the Windows registry editor to see if the point to the correct Firefox version.
