Note that it is the opposite and that the extension developer need to support a specific Firefox release. In this case it is more complicated because Firefox 57+ versions only support WebExtensions and a complete rewrite of a legacy extension is necessary.


You can do a clean reinstall of the Firefox 56 release and uninstall the Firefox 57 version.
