Hello,

I have quite a lot of tabs and I set Firefox not to load them on browser restart. That works fine.

After starting the browser I navigate through tabs using the keyboard: CTRL+TAB. Unfortunately this starts loading the tabs I'm going through, though I don't need them. Say I'm on tab 1 and I want to work with tab 5. With CTRL+TAB I go through tabs 2, 3 and 4. I don't want them loaded! I want to reload only the tabs I ask for, with the F5 key. Loading the tabs I don't need eats up a lot of memory. In older versions I used to disconnect from the Internet, start the browser, then load only the tabs i needed with F5. How do I do this now? Is there an extension for this?

You can use Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+8 to go to the first 8 tabs. Ctlr+9 takes you always to the last tab.

Otherwise you will have to use the mouse and only click the tabs you want to restore or possibly reorder the tabs to have them at the left end of the Tab bar.
