all day I have tried to click my bookmarks, they come up and then disappear and I can not do anything.

click on my bookmarks, open menu etc. It pops up then immediately disappears. I can go no further than my start up page.

If it works fine is safe mode possible Profile Error or Extension issue.

This is important if you can : See if you can find updates for your Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 as they are a yr old : driverDate: 5-25-2016 You can Google Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 and find the download page https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/86210/Intel-HD-Graphics-5500, but you may have to know what generation chipset you are using. CPU-Z would tell you this https://www.cpuid.com/ Can also try : https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html I do not see any errors in the drivers as I have not seen them. Old & corrupted Drivers cause a wide range of issues. Please keep them updated to prevent issues and you never know when Intel will stop supporting them.
