What's going on? I see it stopped working for other users in 57, or while remaining on 56. I definitely can't see any trace of the scripts I've installed. Is it salvagable, or should I try to get by without user scripts?

Version 4.1 Released Dec. 11 Works with Firefox 52.0 and later Version 4.0 Released Nov. 2 Works with Firefox 57.0 and later Version 3.17 Released Oct. 3, Works with Firefox 52.0 - 56.*

I guess the extension author has been trying to support Firefox 57+ and Firefox 52 ESR.

You may need to go to addons and click the gear icon to update to 4.1 as that is the current version and was updated 4 days ago : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/

Mozilla ok's Extensions submitted by the Developers to be used with Firefox. They ok them only and give the Developer a web page to distribute their Extension from. This in no means that Firefox Support does the Developers Support when their page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ has a Support link and a contact Link.

I think I would need 3.12 rather than 4.1. Anyway, I'm uninstalling Greasemonkey.

But part of the idea of using 52 esr was that things *wouldn't* break. I still have to deal with things breaking because of 57, when I'm not using 57, and I can't use 57.

52.5.2 It will continue to get security updates until May 2018, Note : Legacy Extensions will be deleted or removed in any version update after May 2018.

Well I wold not know any of that. You do not have send info to Mozilla ticked with in Firefox and should do so before posting. Would have information to work with then.

Mac OS X 10.12 Is supported by 57+ Why not ask for help re-breaking. What is it Extensions ? Find Alternatives : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ https://mozilla.github.io/extension-finder/

But my brain isn't! I am strobe-sensitive, and I need a number of accessibility tools to use the web, and 57+ doesn't yet support enough of these tools.
