My laptop was stolen out off my car last week. I used Mozilla Thunderbird as my old email client I am now trying to recover documents. I have bought a MacBook as a replacement and am now using the Apple email client. I have discovered that I had selected not to save any emails with an attachment on Mozilla. Is there any way I can recover these? I would install Mozilla on my MacBook if I thought it would be possible. I would be grateful for any help.

You can get Thunderbird from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/

Mozilla does not host email. Reconnecting Thunderbird to your email provider may give you access to your emails with attachments if you did not set your old computer to download and delete the email.
