I am unable to save logon and password for a particular site I visit very frequently...the normal pop-up window that asks if I want to save the password does not appear when I go to this particular site...therefore, each time I try and login, it requires that I input the login and password each and every time...very frustrating...can you help?

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.3 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Sounds that Firefox isn't detecting that form correctly and thus doesn't offer to store the username and password. In such a case there is probably not much to do about this because the saved-password-editor extension that made this possible is no longer supported being a Legacy extension.
