As others have stated before we face issues where firefox displays text in question marks. We are running mac os 10.11.6 and 10.12.6 and we have the font manager Universal Type Client.

I know about the workaround of changing the sandboxing value to 1.

But I have two questions. Is there an easy way to deploy this setting to all my users (260+ users, sometimes multiple user profies on a single computer)?

And will there be a future release that addresses this issue?

In what folder(s) are the not working fonts installed?

You can add locations to a white list pref instead of lowering the sandbox setting. See:
