I keep getting this message: Secure Connection Failed ... in most of the websites I usually use such as hostmonster, amtrak and my gmail. How can I stop this?

It is happening to most of the websites I usually use such as hostmonster, amtrak and my gmail. How can I stop this? There is no advanced option ... the following is what I get:

The connection to my.hostmonster.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

Report errors like this to help Mozilla identify and block malicious sites

It is happening to most of the websites I usually use such as hostmonster, amtrak and my gmail. How can I stop this? There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

Often, "Secure Connection Failed" means "Connection Failed (trying to load a secure page)". In other words, not a security problem, just a connection problem.
