Recently updated to Firefox 61 and after a couple of minutes the area where web content shows stops responding. I can click on all the toolbars, favourites, and menus and they respond fine, but I'm not able to scroll or click on any links on web pages. If I change to another tab, then a blank page opens with a loading icon. If I then go back to another tab that was loaded, I get the same blank screen with a loading icon.

I can close Firefox and re-open it which works for another couple of minutes, but then 'crashes'. When I do close FF then go to re-open, a message appears stating that FF is already open but not responding.

Fixes tried: Refreshing Firefox Starting in safe-mode Removing Firefox and re-installing. Created new user on this PC and installed under that account.

HI, please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.0 with a Full Version Installer
