Some folders are shown duplicated, both apppear empty
Today, I was moving some received messages into folders, when I noticed that a few of my local folders are displayed twice. The folders that are shown twice appear empty (although previously they were not). A common feature of all these folders is that in their names are used non-english characters (ěščřž). Up till today, there was no problem with these characters in folder names, for years.
One of these duplicate folders is possible to rename, the other one not. Normally, Thunderbird would not allow to use the same name for any two folders in the same directory...
Any advice would be much appreciated.

V mnohých prípadoch pomôže opraviť priečinok, - kliknite na priečinok pravým tlačidlom myši a zvoľte "Vlastnosti" a zvoľte "Opraviť priečinok": http://imgbank.cz/images/2014/09/23/Thunderbird_opravit_priecinok.jpg - postupne opravte aj ostatné priečinky Potom je nutné ešte "Vykonať údržbu priečinkov".: - Thunderbird - Súbor - Vykonať údržbu priečinkov: http://imgbank.cz/images/2015/08/19/Thunderbird_udrzba_priecinkov.jpg
Díky za radu!
The repair tool for folders unfortunately did not help to solve the problem. I tried it on the duplicate folders and on their parent folder as well, with no result (program restarts after each try).
I was eventually forced to use a workaround and rename the files storing the affected folders directly in my thunderbird repository. That resolves the problem, as stored emails became visible again. Thunderbird was still displaying one of the empty original folders, but it was possible to delete it.
