Firefox says Square Enix FFXIV forum is not secure, making it difficult to make post there. How can I fix this, permanently?

I've used Square Enix's forum for Final Fantasy XIV for a while, but recently Firefox says it's not secure. This means the cookie pop-up will not go away until I "Disable Protection for Now", plus it makes posting with BB Code shortcuts on the site (like pressing the emoticon I want from a drop down box, or the picture on the message I'm wanting to post) impossible - they just won't appear in the post. To make it work like it normally does, I have to "Disable Protection for Now" on every page. This is quite annoying.

Please tell me how you are blocking this forum, and how I can unblock it permanently, so it works like it used to, and indeed, how it had been working up until about a week or so ago? Everything else I access of theirs is secure, just not this forum. Please help!

Hi! Thanks for replying. Here's what it actually says when I load up the site (which is: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/619-English-Forums ), and click on the padlock with the yellow warning triangle in the address bar:

"Connection is not secure. Parts of this page are not secure (such as images)."

On clicking this for even further information, it says:

"Your connection is not private and information you share with this site could be viewed by others. Although Firefox has blocked some content, there is still some content on the page that is not secure (such as images),"

That's all I have, but what it does, seemingly, is to prevent the cookie popup (this site uses cookies, etc) going away after being clicked, so it's there all the time, and the BB code shortcuts non-responsive (manually inputting the code works, however).

I have Avast, and thought to add the forum to the exclusions; however all this did was show a green padlock in the bar when the page loads, before reverting back to the shadow padlock with the yellow warning triangle over it. I'll take a look through those links you mentioned and see if anything helps.

Thanks again! Have a great day. :)

Sometimes a web page is secured, but also has unsecured data such as pictures. Normally this is not to worry, as long as you are not sending private data.
