I need to use Firefox 45.0 or higher for a project and I downloaded Firefox on my iPhone and the version says it is 14.0 for iOS is that as high as 45.0 or is it lower?

Hi, Wherever you read that you need "Firefox 45.0 or higher", it was most likely referring to the desktop version of Firefox (Windows, Mac, Linux), not the version for iOS.

Are you wondering if a site requiring Firefox 45 or later will work on Firefox for iOS? In short, Firefox 45 was released over 2 years ago, and Firefox for iOS 14 was released just 1 month ago, so it most likely will work. ☺️

Technically, there is no parallel. Apple doesn't allow browsers in iOS to use a different rendering engine than Safari, which means the rendering engine in Firefox for iOS is completely different than the one in the desktop version.
