Suddenly the links in aol emails stopped working. Nothing happens when I click on them. I have looked at the help which said to make sure default browser is set (is Firefox), check extensions (I have none) and other stuff I don't understand. What could be wrong? This has worked fine for years! I have Windows 7 Home. Firefox is up to date.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Appears to be a problem with AOL eMail. Over 94% of the AOL problems are with its eMail system.
