Eliminate "Recently Bookmarked" and show the "Other Bookmarks" bookmarks in the sequence I want

more options

I click on the Books icon. I click on "Bookmarks". "Recently Bookmarked" displays a list of UNSORTED bookmarks. "Other Bookmarks" displays a list of bookmarks in the sequence I want.

Is there a way to eliminate "Recently Bookmarked" and show the "Other Bookmarks" bookmarks in the sequence I want?

Hi gcotterl, the Books icon -- Library menu -- Bookmarks category's Recently Bookmarked list should always be in chronological order, most recent first. So that isn't what you're looking for.

Could I suggest changing icons? Firefox has an optional single-purpose bookmarks menu button () with a fly-out list for Other Bookmarks. To add that button, either:

(A) Use the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars) to drag the icon to the desired spot on the toolbar

(B) Use the method from Bookmarks in Firefox - section entitled: How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?

  • Click the "Library" button:
  • Click "Bookmarks"
  • Click "Bookmarking Tools"
  • Click "Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar"

Hopefully that works better?
