When I write an address the auto complete function breaks the input. For example, typing these explicit addresses on the keyboard:

"hitta.se" produces "hitta.sese" and "ebay.co.uk" producese "ebay.coco.uk.uk"

More specifically, I have visited the pages before, and when I enter the first "." (period) the remaining auto complete letters are still selected, but when I type the following letter it is added to the end of the address.

Best regards Robert

Hi Robert

I have seen the same issue myself (although not for some time) and I hope I can help.

  1. From the Android homescreen or app drawer, open the Settings app (typically a cogwheel).
  2. Select Applications and find Firefox.
  3. Under Storage, clear the cache (do not clear data!)
  4. Do the same with the keyboard app on your device.

Now restart your device and you should find that it runs a bit smoother and that you do not have this issue.
