I have a problem that Speedtes.net is not properly working on the Firefox., It often camcell the test of downloading or uploading. Even when it succeeded in the test, its speed is very slow. This first happened after installing Wiindows10 2004. My Windows10 is 64bit version. Does anyone have the same problem or know the solusion of this?

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
