My webcam is a logitech c920, so uses uvc driver. Its not being detected instead the only option i get is a "Defaut Device" for both camera and mic. Works fine on cheese and chromium. I have tested with other webcams and USB mic, same issue. Tested on: https://webrtc.github.io/test-pages/src/audio-and-video/

Aren't there any other devices listed if you click the drop-down arrow on either 'Default Device' line ?

No, no other device or selection at all, just default. Selecting default gives a Demo tone on mic and a rainbow video out.
