How do I stop the screen from rotating upside down when trying to use the phone in landscape? (iPhone 8)

For context, I like to use my phone sometimes while laying in bed, as I’m sure others do too. Occasionally, when I want to read something online that’s longer or the text is smaller than comfortable, I’ll turn off the iPhones portrait lock and turn my phone horizontally. I own an iPhone 8.

The problem is, for whatever reason, Firefox won’t stay in portrait mode. If I turn the phone a little too much so it’s almost upside down when laying on my side, it rotates the screen back to landscape mode, except upside down, so the bottom of the webpage is at the top of the phone. This would be cool if that’s what I wanted, but I don’t, I just want the screen to rotate horizontally, and stay that way, unless I turn my phone right way up.

This isn’t a problem I have with Safari or Chrome when tested in those apps, but I prefer the Firefox app so would rather not have to switch, though for now I don’t have a choice. How do I turn off the upside down screen orientation, or is there an option in Firefox itself to lock the screen orientation horizontally? The iPhone unfortunately will only let me lock the screen so it’s portrait and not landscape.

Apologies, I’m not sure if I can edit my original post, but when I said “ If I turn the phone a little too much so it’s almost upside down when laying on my side, it rotates the screen back to landscape mode” I meant PORTRAIT mode.
