Is there any way to stop Firefox automatically installing updates on Linux? It's incredibly disruptive when I'm in the middle of work, open a new tab and Firefox says it needs to be restarted to install updates. When in this state, opening new tabs yields the same result. I'm using 87.0 built for Ubuntu, installed out of the package repo.

Try to install Firefox directly from the Mozilla website, it shouldn't force you to restart.
