Sending tabs to other devices without any opening the app
In older versions it used to be possible to click the "share" button on another app, say Twitter, and directly click on "send tab to desktop" etc. In newer versions that option appears to be gone and the only way is to send the tab to the Firefox app and then onwards to other devices. This new way is far slower and clunkier than it used to be.
Thus, I was wondering if there is a way to re-enable this feature, or if there are any plans to reintroduce it?

Hi
If you have the tab open in Firefox for Android, you can open the menu, select the share icon, select the other device signed into your Firefox Account and you can send the tab to that device.
I hope that this helps.

That's the clunky method I mentioned. I was looking for something faster, done through third party apps without needing to open Firefox itself.
It would need to go through Firefox for Android at some point to be able to pick up your Firefox Account to see which devices the tab could be shared with.

Yes, however in old versions I didn't have to switch the app I was using (eg twitter) to use the "send to device" function as I do now.
