I run windows 7 64 bit on my Dell Latitude E6330 laptop and Thunderbird. The vertical space on the Dell laptop is limited while a lot of it is taken up with static Thunderbird information leaving rather restricted space to view the content of an email.

This problem is exacerbated with the latest upgrades as it has an increased amount of blank space between the lines that lists emails.

Question; How can I get rid of the increased blank space between lines?
