Hi I have a weird problem with Filters When running a filter to forward an email and then delete, I get an error message - Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching ESale.pdf. Please check that you have access to the file.
The email will fail to send but will be moved to Trash If I simply FWD the email manually and input the same email address, the email will send normally, with the attachment in place.
The filter will not work either on auto or manually. I have TB on multiple computers and use the same filter on all sites, IMAP configured and this is the first problem I have run into in a while...
Any ideas? Thanks Hojo

I have had the same problem after a recent update, even with manually forwarded emails. You'll have to discard the forwarded draft and do it again. Most times, it works on the second or third try. I get this error about 25% of the time when I manually forward emails with attachments. TB on multiple computers, all with the same problem. Never a problem with iOS devices or different mail client on Android.
Having the same issue since the latest update. Have contacted other Thunderbird users and they are having the same issues. Different computers, different ISPs, different email addresses. When using message rules to forward emails it comes up with "Sending of message failed. There was an error attaching xxx.pdf. Please check if you have access to the file." The rest of the rule processes but the message is not forwarded. Have had to turn off all rules for now as backtracking to find the 'missed' forwards is a nightmare. Once found, yes there is access to the .pdf and yes, it can be manually forwarded. Anyone got any suggestions for a resolution please?
