Is there a way to prevent TB from displaying embedded images in the email messages?

I mean actual image content downloaded, not remote content (I know how to prevent displaying remote content). Also, the solution to display messages as plain text is not a solution for me.

Thanks for your help

you can enforce text only mode in the View menu. It will also clear out the HTML, so your mail will be very plain.
