I had to rebuild my mac. Prior to reformatting hard drive I saved my Firefox bookmarks as a JSON. File. The instructions say to restore the JSON file but every time I select Restore >> Choose File, no dialogue box comes up for me to select the location of my file.

What do I do?

Where did you save the file? Reformatting the hard drive would have removed all files on it. You may have software capable of recovering them.
