Hello, Websites With a Set Font The most likely problem is that Firefox is still set to allow the website's font settings to override your default font. When you set the font and color options for Firefox, click the "Advanced" button to see more options. Deselect "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above" to ensure that your font overrides the font specified on websites.

Troubleshoot Firefox Restart Firefox and see if that brings up your custom font on pages. If that doesn't work, start Firefox in safe mode. Safe mode disables all add-ons; if something unofficial to the browser caused the font issues, safe mode will reveal it. Go to the "Help" menu and select "Restart With Add-ons Disabled." If you see the custom font in safe mode, then either disable your add-ons one by one until you find the culprit, or reset Firefox to restore the browser to its original state.

Font Problems If you have chosen a non-standard font as your custom Firefox font, check that the font works in other applications as well. Your word processing software is the simplest tool for this task, though an image editing program would work as well. Fonts have to be installed after you download them, so check that you have correctly installed any new fonts downloaded from the Internet.

Firefox Add-ons for Advanced Font Management Both NoSquint and Default FullZoom Level allow you to zoom only the font, making it larger on the screen without zooming other elements on the site. Stylish is an add-on that allows you to apply custom themes and CSS to any website on the Internet -- meaning that you can customize the font in Facebook one way and the font in Twitter another (links in Resources).
