I just subscribed to Google Drive but I can't access it through my gmail/google account. Is this because Firefox is blocking the application?

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with Firefox. If you can kindly provide screenshots of error codes, or the errors themselves, that be extremely helpful.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response. The error code is "Request had insufficient authentication scopes." I usually don't have any problem accessing my google accounts, not sure why this one is giving me problems.

Hi there, This issue may have been caused by some permission errors in the Google API. If you have nothing stored in this Drive just yet, you can try the following steps:

  1. Head we were Google Account page.
  2. Click on "Data and Privacy", then under "Apps and Services", click "Content saves from Google services".
  3. Select "Delete a Service".
  4. Remove Google Drive, if possible.

If you are unable to remove Google Drive, you can try clearing cookies and cache:

  1. Click on the three lines in the bottom right corner
  2. Head to Settings, then Data Management
  3. Deselect everything except for "Cookies" and "Cache"
  4. Click on "Clear private data". Note that this will sign you out of all apps, and you'll have to use your username and password to sign in again. Some websites may load slightly slower when visiting them for three first time after clearing cache.

I hope this helped!
