I have Thunderbird setup with three email accounts. On the left side bar where I have the inbox, sent, trash and out box one of them has in the outbox with a yellow dot and lock symbol. What is that about and how do I fix it?

Chosen solution

That is a secure (SSL encrypted connection) account (The account icon with the padlock) with new unseen mail in it. (the gold star). The text beside it would normally be blue on Windows in that state. Turning black and the icon loosing its star after the folder is opened, because you have seen the new contents. If the folder has unread messages it will be bold text, if there are none it will be in normal text.
