The dialog box with which I save bookmarks does not reflect my actual bookmarks, but, rather, an older organization of them.

The folders I have created in bookmarks do not appear when I select "Bookmark this Page." I can save to the general bookmarks folder where it will appear, and then must cut and paste it to the folder I want after finding it manually.

Hi Doug.

Sounds like some extension you have installed may be causing this issue. I have had similar problems with a specific extension in the past. Try running without extensions (safe mode will do it) and if that fixes the issue, try disabling one extension at a time to see which one is causing problems. When you find it, disable it.

I should say, however, that you are using an outdated version of Firefox that is no longer supported. Please update to Firefox 3.6 for maximum security, speed and functionality. It's completely free, as always.

Once you update, try the extension again and see if it's still causing the problem. If it is, or if it's not compatible with Firefox 3.6, contact its author and ask for an update/bugfix.
