Can I get firefox to open when I start my computer instead of waiting for the desk top to appear and then click on the icon(firefox)?

I want to open my computer to my home page on firefox. Right now I have to wait for the desk top to appear and then click on the firefox icon to get it to open. Is this possible or does windows 7 not allow it?

I don't know about Windows 7, but in XP, I do the following:

Create a Firefox shortcut on your desktop; Then

Start -> All Programs -> Right Click on Startup and choose OPEN

-> File -> New -> Drag the Firefox shortcut from desktop to the folder

I don't know if that's the same for Windows 7.
