How do I delete web addresses from the http address line pulldown list?

When I click on the down-arrow on the http "mozilla.com" address line I get a pulldown list that contains lots of sites I used in the past but are of no use now. I would like to delete them so some more recent addresses could be added to the list and give me the convenience of not having to type them in. The Help screen was of no help.
