Why is one Javascript not working?
I have a page I am working on that makes use of a particular Javascript. I have enabled Javascript for this Website (mine). The Javascript is called both from within and outside of a PHP script.
This same page works just fine in IE (8), Opera, and Google Chrome. For some reason, it does not work in Firefox, on any of the four computers in my household.
This page/script does not work at all in Firefox, even if/when I am using a User Agent Switcher.

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.

You'll need to register and login to be able to post in that forum.
Can you post a link?
Do you see any errors about this in the Tools > Error Console?
Thanks for the tip. I'll try there.
Thanks, cor-el.
You can check out the problem page at: http://swan-cross.com/PHPtests/Member.../member.php
Where you see the headings with a red arrow, they are supposed to expand when you click the arrow/link. These are always headed either "About [composer name]..." or "Statement of Faith". As I say, they seem to work in every other browser I've tried.
This is a fairly simple, straightforward Javascript, one that simply expands (displays) or collapses (hides) text enclosed within aThe Error Console (which I formerly knew nothing about) seems to indicate that the variable value that is supposed to be passed to the Javascript is undefined. However, that value, which is retrieved from the database, using PHP, *is* defined. And, as I say, it works just fine in other browsers. The Error Console seems to indicate that the PHP script is having no trouble picking up the variable value from the database; it just is not getting passed on to the Javascript in the header of this page, for some reason.
Does this help? Any ideas or tips?
Thanks again!
