I cannot access my bank website because their requirements are Firefox 3.0.8 and I installed 3.6.13. What can I do in order to access my accounts?

BROWSER REQUIREMENTS (CUT & PASTED FROM WEBSITE)

The Online Banking website requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x, 7.x, or 8.x, Safari for Mac 1.3.2 or higher, Firefox 1.5.0.8, 2.0.0.4, or 3.0.8, or Google Chrome* 1.0.154.65. Using older or non-compatible browsers or disabling browser features, such as JavaScript and cookies, will reduce site functionality.

Firefox 3.0.19 was the last update for 3.0, not the old 3.0.8

Also seemed to have over looked 3.5 as last was 3.5.16 (3.5.17 soon), 2.0.0.20 was last no 2.0.0.4. The 1.5.0.8 is very old (1.5.12 was last).

It is the website that badly needs to update not have the user downgrading to old version that is not even being supported by security updates anymore.

You could temporary try to fool the website in thinking you are using the old 3.0.8 by changing a preference.

type about:config in Location (address) bar Filter for general.useragent.extra.firefox Right-click and Modify it to Firefox/3.0.8
