The default for a new tab in Firefox is a blank page. The Google Toolbar extension that you have installed has options for what is shown in a new tab, but those options usually are for Google related pages or functions. You should look at the GTB options and see if Yahoo is set for a new tab. Or maybe another extension you have installed has a setting for Yahoo in a new tab.
