The problem is that Firefox just shuts down. There were no dialogue boxes for reporting this. The message simply said that the internet connection was lost and that Firefox was working on it. Other times the message simply said Firefox has quit. There was no crash ID or message box to report this.

I am not even a Mac user, but I suspect the problem is not with Firefox, but with a faulty internet connection. The exact wording of the message or a screenshot my be useful to those trying to help resolve this problem.
