AVG is finding malware from Firefox/Thunderbird that cannot be deleted for fear of destabilizing the system. I may have to forsake Firefox. How do I stop this plus the tracking cookies.

Nothing more to say. Twice I have had these results from AVG. The malware cannot be put into the Virus Vault and cannot be deleted by ordinary means. If you need me to send a picture of AVG results, let me know. Thanks.
