how can i get rid of the Google Bar that is located to the right of the "awesome" bar on the navigation toolbar?

this is the Google search window/bar that seems to be automatically placed on the navigation tool bar. since Google is my home page, i don't want it to also appear on the nav bar.

Go to View | Toolbars | Customize. You'll see a panel appear. Drag anything you don't want in there including the Search bar. I don't use it either.

You can drag it back out again if you decide later you want it again.
