Please do the following.

  • Download the free version of Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free and run a full system scan to eliminate malware as the culprit as is often the case.

  • Click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable: Macromedia Shockwave for Director. Be careful here, because there is also one by the same name called "Adobe Shockwave for Director".

Update the following:

All of the above are seriously out of date and expose your system to exploits.

In the Plugins manager, you have two other plugins which have the following designations, but no other information:

  • 2000050

  • 2040611

Could you check and see if you can find them and if so, let me know what the names of them are. They might be legitimate, but on they other hand they might not be.

You also appear to have a plugin called Unity Player v2.6.1f3. This appears to be out of date too. That's not necessarily a risk, but it might be, so visit the site where it came from and update it.
